Choose Props That Explain the Product
A prop should contribute a reason for being in the frame. The best supporting objects suggest use, scale or setting while leaving the product as the main subject.

A practical approach
- Name what the prop communicates. A notebook suggests work, a towel suggests a routine and a travel tag suggests a journey. If you cannot explain the connection, leave it out.
- Keep the prop visually subordinate. Use a smaller size, quieter color or more distant position so it does not become the accidental hero.
- Avoid props that imply ingredients, accessories or benefits the product does not include. Creative atmosphere should not create a misleading impression of the offer.
An example to adapt
Use this as a creative brief, then adjust it to your own subject and the controls available in your chosen tool.
A reusable water bottle on a desk with a closed notebook set farther back. The bottle is the largest and sharpest object. Soft window light, neutral colors, no additional equipment or decorative lettering.
Before you publish
Review the scene as a customer might. Could a supporting object be mistaken for something included in the purchase? If so, clarify the presentation or choose a different prop.
